This production played in Liverpool from April - May 1991 before transferring to London where it played at the Bloomsbury Theatre from 16 May - 15 June 1991.
An insert in the programme retained at the V&A Performance archive states that "following the run of Antony and Cleopatra in Liverpool Mr. Ilario Bisi Pedro, who played the part of Lepidus, was taken ill and was unable to remain with the production when it transferred to London." The insert announces that Oscar James played Lepidus for the London run.
