Vincent Ebrahim was born in South Africa and trained at the University of Cape Town Drama School. He came to Britain in 1976 and spent the next decade working for Common Stock and Joint Stock. The programme for the Young Vic's 1986 Julius Caesar also contains the following information: "Vincent recently joined the Royal Shakespeare Company where he played Bourdon and Sanson in The Danton Affair, Ramon in Real Dreams and Angelo in The Guest Room for Not the RSC Festival at the Almeida."
