PRINCIPAL CAST: Richard Cant (Demetrius); Christopher Hollis (Lysander); Jacqueline Kington (Hermia); Myra McFadyen (Puck); Louise Plowright (Titania); Guy Scantlebury (Oberon); Abigail Thaw (Helena).
This production ran from 23 September - 16 October 1993. The production had a cast of eight most of whom, of necessity, doubled multiple parts. The lovers all played a fairy and a mechanical as well as the four lovers; there was the usual Oberon/Theseus and Titania/Hippolyta double; and Puck was the only actor who did not play a second or third part.
