This production was a revival of the RSC's 2016 production and had been significantly re-cast.
This production opened in New York in April 2018 as part of a US tour with the revival of Simon Godwin's production of Hamlet. This production subsequently returned to Stratford for performances from 23 May - 9 June 2018 (The 2018 revival of Hamlet finished its run while the company was in the U.S. with a week at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.)
