The second part of the RSC's 1988 Histories cycle titled "The Plantagenets", a conflation of the Henry VI plays and Richard III.
This production ran from 1988-89 and was performed at: the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon; the Theatre Royal, Newcastle-upon-Tyne; and the Barbican Centre, London in the Barbican Theatre. Jaye Griffiths appeared in this production during its Stratford and Newcastle runs only; Christian Dixon appeared in this production at the Barbican Theatre only.
