Yomi A. Michaels is a British-born actor of Nigerian descent. He is a native of Leeds, according to his biography in the Romeo and Juliet programme which also states: "He started acting at college and realised he had stumbled on something he enjoyed doing and was reasonably good at it. His ability has nurtured him through many a production from Youth Theatre to University in both Leeds and Cambridge."
