Raj Bajaj was born in Bristol in 1986. He received the Laurence Olivier Bursary in 2010 from the Society of West End Theatres and graduated from ALRA in 2011.

Bajaj took part in the Beijing Olympics Closing Ceremony, including performing in The Merchant of Venice with the National Youth Theatre in 2008.
