Kolade Agboke began acting at the age of 13 when he joined the Young Vic Youth Theatre. He trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where his roles included Orlando in As You Like It. Agboke's first professional theatre work was in The Merchant of Venice at the Sheffield Crucible. Agboke's non-Shakespearean classical credits include playing Sir Epicure Mammon in Ben Jonson's The Alchemist at the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry in 2014.
