Bernard Boston was a native of Denton, Maryland he was one of the founders of what his obituary calls "a black actors' guild" in England in the 1970s. He was the great-great-grandson of the Rev. Daniel Peter Seaton who was the first black minister to preach at Westminster Abbey. He was a member of Jesse Jackson's security team when Jackson ran for President of the United States in 1984. He died in Philadelphia in 1989.
