The Winter's Tale (1984): Royal Shakespeare Company, RSC/Nat West Tour
This production was part of the RSC/Nat West regional tour, which shared the same cast and played in repertory with Arthur Miller's The Crucible, directed by Nick Hamm. The one ethnic minority actress in the company was cast as Tituba in The Crucible - the only specifically black role in Miller's play.
It toured small venues throughout the UK from August 1984 to January 1985. It was also performed in Warsaw and Wroclaw, Poland in January 1985, where it finished its run.
