A publicity postcard in the V&A Performance Archive announces the production's run at the Royal Lyceum Studio from 14 - 29 August 1987 during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe notes "Within a two hour span this modern day Othello closely examines the motivations and complex feelings of Shakespeare's most emotional play. TAG promises evil scheming, high emotion and bloody deeds! Othello is played by Brian Bovell (winner of Drama Magazine's Most Promising Actor Award)..."
