Much Ado About Nothing (2016): Royal Shakespeare Company
PRINCIPAL CAST: Sam Alexander (Don John); Edward Bennett (Benedick); Rebecca Collingwood (Hero); Lisa Dillon (Beatrice); Nick Haverson (Dogberry); John Hodgkinson (Don Pedro); Tunji Kasim (Claudio); Steven Pacey (Leonato).
This production was a revival of the RSC's 2014 production of the play with many of the original cast returning, although with a lower number of ethnic minority performers as one original cast member did not return to the show. The production will run at the Chichester Festival Theatre from 24 September - 29 October 2016, the Opera House, Manchester from 25 November - 3 December 2016 and the Theatre Royal, Haymarket, London from 9 December 2016 - 18 March 2017. As with 2014, it played in repertoire with Love's Labour's Lost.
