Lolita Chakrabarti trained at RADA. Her programme credits for Twelfth Night also state that she was co-Artistic Director of Ensemble Theatre Company at the time. For Ensemble she played Antigone in Jean Anouilh's version at the Battersea Arts Centre, directed by Rumu Sen-Gupta, in 1995. Athor of Red Velvet, a play about black actor Ira Aldridge.
