Joji Hirota was born in Hokkaido, Japan and trained at Kyoto Municipal Art University. Credits in the Birmingham Repertory Theatre's programme show experience as a stage musician and Musical Director in Hollywood, New York, Paris, Rome, Barcelona and Caracas. West End credits include The Man From the East for Red Buddha Theatre at the Piccadilly Theatre, Pacific Overture for the English National Opera and Sadler's Wells and Flowers for the Lindsay Kemp Company.
