Jay Oliver Yip's father is from Hong Kong and his mother is from England.  He obtained a BA (Hons) in Performing Arts: Acting from Bath Spa University in 2007. Since, Yip has worked as a professional actor fr stage and screen, performing worldwide.  Yip co-founded local theatre company Hammerpuzzle,and worked as their General Manager for five years. He played Alonso/Stephano in The Tempest for Hammerpuzzle in 2011 and Lucio in Measure for Measure in 2009.
