Gary Bryden trained at Middlesex University, graduating with a degree in Performing Arts. Upon leaving university, he joined the jazz harmony group The Southlanders and toured nationally and internationally with them. Bryden has extensive musical theatre credits, including playing - over the course of four years - Big Moe, Four Eyed Moe and Nomax in Five Guys Named Moe at the Lyric Theatre and Paul in Kiss Me Kate at the Open Air Theatre, Regent's Park in 1997.
