Debby Bishop was born in London. On leaving school, she joined the Combination Theatre Company. Bishop has extensive musical theatre credits, including Wiz at the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield; Blues in the Night at the Donmar Warehouse; The Cotton Club at the Aldwych Theatre; Ain't Misbehavin' at the Lyric Theatre and Kiss Me Kate at the Open Air Theatre, Regent's Park. She is patron of Montage Theatre Arts.
