Akiya Henry is Associate Artist at Bristol Old Vic Theatre. Her theatre roles include Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream for Bristol Old Vic and Handspring; Coram Boy, Anything Goes, Love's Labours Lost at the National Theatre, The Tempest at the Open Air Theatre, Regents Park, Henry V for the RSC, Carmen Jones at the Southbank Centre, and The Colored Museum with Talawa. She is developing her own company, Making Waves, with Miranda Cromwell. Akiya performed in the Phenomenal People installation on tour in the UK in 2014.
