PRINCIPAL CAST: Penny Downie (Chorus); Ian Hogg (King Charles VI); Adrian Lester (Henry V); Adam Levy (Dauphin).
This production ran from 13 May - 20 August 2003. This was the first production at the National Theatre to cast a black actor to play an English king in Shakespeare's history plays, three years after the Royal Shakespeare Company cast David Oyelowo to play Henry VI.
